Volume 6, Issue 6, November 29, 2009
Special to Seattle Sportsnet
After a little break, we are back at it Sunday night when our Dawgs take on the Grizzlies of the University of Montana. We’re doing our job so far this season so let’s keep it up this weekend before we send the Huskies off on their first road trip.
-Montana Grizzlies at Washington Huskies
-Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. PST
-Bank of America Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion
-Montana is a member of the Big Sky Conference.
-The Griz are currently 4-1 including a victory at Oregon by 13 on Monday.
-Head Coach Wayne Tinkle goes by the nickname “Tinks”.
-Sr. #3 G Ryan Staudacher is a hometown boy from Kirkland, a Lake Washington High School grad. We can let him know that he wasn’t good enough for UW so he had to go to Montana. He looks like a complete nerd, but still manages to pull in the chicks as seen here.
-Sr. #44 F Jack McGillis transferred from Oregon State where he was best friends with the Dawg Pack’s favorite player in the Pac-10, Jarred the ball boy. Let’s ask him how Jarred (birth name: Stephen Sethney) is doing and inform him that Jarred is better at shooting 3s. Jack’s nickname is “Angus”. McGillis was a cheerleader for Halloween, complete with the chest.
– Fr. #40 F Mathias Ward is a budding actor co-starring in some independent films known by the title “Back Country.” Here’s what I assume to be the film cover, complete with a preview summary. Mathias is on the right of the main picture and needs to be ridiculed endlessly for this.
– Sr. #23 G Anthony Johnson is married but lists one of his favorite movies as “Why Did I Get Married?” Maybe we should ask him that question. His wife plays basketball for the Montana women’s team. He lists his college major as “NBA BOUND.” Okay.
-Fr. G #22 Shawn Stockton hails from Spokane but is a member the lesser famous Stockton family from the Inland Empire. He loves ALL reality shows on VH1.
