Fain likely to remain in some capacity with KJR

dickfain1Just days after it was announced that he had been laid off by the station, Dick Fain was back on 950 KJR hosting his Saturday midday show, The Fourth Quarter.

Though it is still unclear as to what Fain’s role will be with Seattle’s all-sports radio station, Fain himself remarked on-air that he would be “shocked” if today’s show would be his last.

He went on to say that he had been talking with program director Rich Moore about remaining with KJR, perhaps in a limited capacity.

As we first reported earlier this week, Fain, along with producers Brian Lambert and Andy Bunker, were casualties of cutbacks when they were let go by the station on Tuesday.
