I played basketball recently with a black guy named Red. But he did have orangish hair and he wore red, so maybe it was just a not-so-clever nickname. He was a beast on the court though.

Totally agree with you on Hasselbeck. He’s going to be the best option until his predecessor is in on the roster (which he is not). Hass is better than Whitehurst this year, the next year, and possibly even the year after that.

As for black guys named Red… dontcha remember Red Fox? Hilarious!

If Mariners management ran the Seahawks, they would be trotting out Shaun Alexander as the starting running back and have three bobble head days planned for him. A fourth game day would involve some children-related giveaways. You gotta love this guy.

Nate Burleson would still be on the team since he’s local, and along with Marcus Trufant and Lawyer Milloy, they’d be surrounded by Jon Kitna, Marques Tuiasosopo, Dane Looker, Brandon Gibson, Isaiah Stanback, Rian Lindell, Juan Garcia and the first round pick would’ve been used on Taylor Mays.

Mike Holmgren would’ve been fired shortly after drafting Jerramy Stevens because the front office had no clue whatsoever about his legal issues.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh would be moved to kicker, outside linebacker, defensive end or possibly even center because he simply costs too much to cut, and when a player is making that much money, you absolutely have to play him every game somewhere.

I think what will be worse is my breathen from WSU will come on here and talk a whole mess of crap to Husky fans after we got our a** handed to us by OKState….

I think I feel more embarrassed about that than the actual game itself…

Cliff Lee would still be on the team, with a long term contract extention already agreed to.

Eric Bedard wouldn’t of been traded for and Adam Jones would be our starting Center Fielder.

I don’t think I would of questioned this teams desire to beat BYU Saturday.

Honestly you could tell if they were a little bit sharper int he critical areas…Special Teams, Offensive Line, Defensive Line….if those were sharper that game would of been over at halftime.

Still the Dawgs had a chance in the 4th quarter to win one on the road.

The hardest one to win is the first road game when you haven’t been able to for a while.

I like this team and I think they are going to come out against Syracuse and show the proper way the Dawgs bring it on Saturdays.

As for the history of the program I think they get that lesson every practice when they walk down that tunnel and see all the Bowl games and Rose Bowls this team has been to.

How can you not see how this program was when you walk by all that history?

It’s up to the University of Washington athletic department to start educating current and future (and even some past) Huskies on the tradition of the football program. The UW needs to promote the past better than they currently do. We have an amazing athletic tradition and yet you wouldn’t know it.

I am with you man. Most of the game I was either a) yelling at our o-line or b) getting mad at Sark for his horrid play calls. Haven’t we seen this before though? A team gets overhyped in Seattle (Mariners and Huskies) and gets lots of East Coast media attention but then crashes back down to earth once it’s time to back those statements up.

I don’t disagree with much of this list. I have to ask though if anyone has heard anything about this – I saw Glasgow the other night and he looked like utter crap! Mrs. The Edgar said he looked sick; pale, tired and worn down. That and never having any rhyme nor reason when you see him or not on TV is he ok?
