Remember when there was the scandal surrounding Kingdome ice? Like the ice they were putting in your drinks had been on the floor or some crazy sh*t. I don't remember the exact details, but it was disgusting.

This feel like a Seattle Sports Fan's Declaration of Independence. Every year I go back to Connecticut to visit my wife's family of course I am rockin' the local gear and everybody stares at me like I am from Mars. No one seems to think there are any real sports fan west of the Mississippi.

What is nice about being a Seattle Sports Fan is there are no bandwagon fans....if you like our teams you are all in because no one in their right mind would be jump on our bandwagon. Our fan base is about as pure as you can get.

If I say the names Warren Moon, Spider Gaines, Julio Cruz, Kenny Easley, Xavier Mcdaniels or Mack Strong to somebody and they recognize them then I know I am in good company.

BTW-I love the king dog comment. Do you remember when they found out they were not throwing the old hot dogs out and statistically there were hot dogs being served that were delivered in 1977 during the Kingdome's inaugural season? Nobody I know was surprised. Who could ever tell.

Man, letting off some steam, are we? Good for you. Another example of how we're not soft is the noise at Qwest Field. Soft fans could not generate that noise. Only true, hard-core fans could. Like us.
