Pay attention, girl!
Venoy Overton is the man. Did you see what happened to him during the Arizona State game? He got accosted by ASU’s James Harden, then assaulted in the testicles by Harden’s teammate Derek Glasser (which, we can assume, isn’t the first time Glasser has touched another man’s balls), and somehow managed to come out of it alive and capable of showing off the Washington “W” with his fingers (and no, angry white folk, that’s not a gang sign).
Venoy is straight gangster, and I mean that in the best possible way. He’s relentless on defense, hounds opposing players all game long, gets in the other team’s head, and has his motor running 100% for all 40 minutes. It’s exactly how you would want to see the game played.
On top of all that, we tend to overlook the fact that Venoy was a starter last season, and has handled his transition to the bench with remarkable class. Unlike many star players who might pout or lament their reduced role, Venoy has seemingly embraced it, becoming one of college basketball’s premier sixth men. And yes, I did say “star.” Let’s not sell the man short, now.

"Yes, I know I'm a bitch."
If you witnessed the Washington-Arizona State earlier tonight, you were likely disappointed by the play of ASU junior guard Derek Glasser. Glasser disrespected the game of basketball with his flopping and dirty tricks, and earned himself a spot in my personal Hall of Shame, right next to Manu Ginobili.
As we all know, Manu Ginobili is the devil. He came here from the deep South (Argentina, closet point to Hell), and did his best to ruin an American game (basketball) with his overreactions to phantom fouls and that girl-on-her-period personality of his. Derek Glasser is the American version of Ginobili. He whines, flops, moans, cries to the refs, and isn’t that good at basketball. At least Ginobili has talent to fall back on.

UConn's Kemba Walker reacts to the news of a sixth OT
Every sport has a BGE (Best Game Ever). The first BGE I ever witnessed was the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, Boise State versus Oklahoma. Anyone who watched that game knows that it was the best college football game they have ever seen. Last night, the Big East Tournament produced the best college basketball game ever. A battle between Syracuse and Connecticut that didn’t produce a winner, so much as it did a survivor.
The game tipped off around 9:00 PM on the East Coast, a late start time to begin with. Both teams were ranked — Connecticut at #4, Syracuse at #20 — and playing on a neutral floor in Madison Square Garden. From the get-go, the game was close. Many experts had wondered whether a younger Syracuse team would be able to hang with the more talented UConn team; in their only meeting during the regular season, Connecticut had won 63-49.
