He sounded half-drunk while providing his “insight.” He basically just had one or two points that he consistently hammered home. If you watched the game, there’s no way you could have avoided his comment that Quincy was the “x-factor.”

As a friend pointed out, “In Lenny’s defense, it’s a requirement to be drunk while in Pullman.”

I do, however, love Calabro. It’s kind of weird to listen to FSN and not want to punch the play-by-play guy through the TV screen.

We were at the game and only got a few comments (along the lines of “apple cup”) as we were leaving despite head to toe purple and gold. It was nothing like the verbal raping we got last year after losing for the 7th straight time.

We have seventeen more Pac-10 games to go and each needs to be fought as those we’re on a seven game losing streak against our arch-rivals.

As for their band… I’m guessing they didn’t have enough that were still around the disgustingness that is Pullman. They’re just not classy enough to support their school like the UW does with a band for EVERY SINGLE GAME. Not that you would have been impressed with the Coug Band’s (low) music quality anyway…
